About Verizon Care Smart

Verizon Care Intelligent is designed to support loved ones live safely and independently. With this companion app, caregivers and trusted contacts can communicate with the watch user and view their most latest space reported by their watch. The application can be used to pair Verizon Care Intelligent Watch (for self or someone else), select Apple Watch models (for someone else only) and select Android device Watch models (for self only). The application can also be used to accept caregiver or trusted contact invitations for Verizon Care Intelligent Watch, select Apple Watch models and select Android device Watch models.

For the Care Intelligent application to pair with select Apple Watch models (for someone else), the watch must be enrolled in either Obtain Support - Caregiver Alert service or Obtain Support - Professional Monitoring service. For the Care Intelligent application to pair with select Android device Watch models (for self), the watch must be enrolled in Obtain Support - Professional Monitoring service.

The Care Intelligent application lets you:
* Locate the watch anytime and view its latest reported space on an interface that supports both the map and satellite view.
* Set location-based and time-based alerts to track your loved one’s space at any given time of the day and day of the week.
* Update the watch user’s profile to hold their medical ID and insurance cards stored securely and always accessible when needed.

Care Intelligent features exclusively for Verizon Care Intelligent Watch:
* Set everyday step goal and get a everyday notification of the step count summary.
* Manage contacts to ensure only trusted people can call or text.
* Set reminders for everyday tasks such as appointments and medications.

Care Intelligent features exclusively for compatible Apple and Android device Watch models:
* No limit on the number of contacts that may be included in the watch user’s Care Intelligent Trust Circle
* Care Smart’s Obtain Support fall detection alerts: Obtain Support service alerts the “trust circle” of caregivers and trusted contacts when your watch detects a hard fall or automatically calls 911
* Timeline of happenings displayed in the Care Intelligent application including when a fall was detected or an emergency call created or received from the Obtain Support - Professional Monitoring agent, emergency responders dispatched, trust circle alerted, and incident closed
* (ONLY APPLICABLE FOR SELECT APPLE WATCH MODELS ENROLLED IN GET HELP - CAREGIVER ALERT SERVICE) When a fall is detected or an emergency call is created to 1 of the contacts in the trust circle, the Care Intelligent application makes it simple to initiate group messaging with the other members of the watch user’s Trust Circle contacts.

The Verizon Care Intelligent application is needed to complete the setup of Care Intelligent on select Apple Watch models, select Android device Watch models and Verizon Care Intelligent Watch.

To obtain going as a watch wearer or if you are setting up the watch for someone else:
1. Download the Care Intelligent application to your smartphone.
2. Make a Care Intelligent account.
3. Pair your tablet with select Apple Watch models (for someone else), select Android device Watch models (for self) or Verizon Care Intelligent watch.

If you are not the watch wearer or didn't set up the watch for someone else, but wish to hold in touch:
1. Obtain the primary caregiver(s) or the watch wearer to send you an invitation.
2. Download this app.
3. Make and/or log in to your own Care Intelligent account.
4. Accept the invitation.
